CIS Faculty, Keshav Bidari

Keshav is passionate about teaching students the fundamentals information technology, empowering them to become creative problem-solvers through IT and programming skills.

He holds a master’s degree in computer and information science, complemented by a diverse academic background in electronics engineering, architecture, and urban and regional planning. His multidisciplinary expertise fuels his commitment to continuous learning, refining the art of teaching, and guiding students toward unlocking their full potential.

Originally from Nepal, Keshav carries with him the values instilled by growing up in a small Himalayan country where resources are not always abundant. This perspective has shaped his deep appreciation for opportunities and reinforced his dedication to one-on-one student engagement.

Before joining SCAC, he spent nearly a decade as a faculty member across multiple states, including Alaska. He discovered his passion for tribal college education at Iḷisaġvik College in Utqiaġvik, Alaska, where he embraced both the challenges and rewards of teaching in Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs). Inspired by the meaningful impact of TCU education, he decided to bring his experience and enthusiasm to SCAC.

Beyond academia, Keshav enjoys hiking, photography, and exploring the dynamic and ever-evolving world around him.
