School of Business and Economic Studies

The School of Business and Economic Studies offers educational opportunities and training services through three units, each specializing in activities to develop and train the workforce in skills needed for a growing economy.

Business Incubator

The Business Incubator will provide a wide range of support services to new and potential entrepreneurs. Working in close cooperation with the Tribe’s Planning and Economic Development Department, the Incubator will provide professional assistance in developing Business Plans, Marketing Research, Financial Analysis, and Start-ups.

Professional Development Academy

The College provides training to Tribal staff and members of the public through the Professional Development Academy, including half-day computer workshops on Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. In addition, it provides workshops on business subjects such as, “How to Write Meeting Minutes.”

Degree Programs in Business

Students seeking an Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree can start their education with an Associate’s Degrees in Business Administration or Business Management. San Carlos Apache College is also pursuing collaborations with several universities to bring their 4-year and eventually graduate programs onto the SCAC campus.
